Last week, my baby turned EIGHT! I can’t believe how the time has flown by - I can still remember her first dirty nappy! (This is mainly because of the glee I felt when her Dad copped changing this one in the hospital #:-S ).

This is the card I made for her, which I’ve just managed to wrestle away from her to take this picture - she loves girlie stuff!

This uses some of the pretty papers from the Loves Me Designer series double-sided paper set from Stampin’ Up!s Summer Mini Catalogue, as well as some Flirty ribbon (the pink crimped one and the teal velvety one). The flowers are from the Sale-A-Bration catalogue, from a set called Friendship Blooms. I stamped them in versamark onto Regal Rose cardstock and applied Dazzling Diamonds glitter with the Heat & Stick powder then trimmed them out. I highlighted some area’s on the petals with our white gel pen. The swirly flowery stamp over the top of the stripey paper is also from this set, and is stamped with Whisper White craft ink. The figure 8 is one of our On Board Chipboard pieces, covered with pink spot paper from the Loves Me range,  and sanded around the edges.

I was quite happy with this, as I don’t use papers all that well as a rule! Thanks for looking!
