While I’m on a roll…

I might pop up another card!

This is one I’ve made as part of a swap I ran for my downline group - it was a Mini Catalogue swap, and we all used different sets - I’ll upload the others when I have permission!

I made mine with the Office Accoutrements set, the matching Notations papers, and the Round Tab Punch. Oh, and Tagger’s Dozen - all from the Mini Catalogue, which is on sale until the end of November. (You’ll also notice Weathered and Itty Bitty Backgrounds as usual, as well as Finest Flourishes.)

I’ve inked up the main flower from Office Accoutrements using the Rock and Roll technique, in So Saffron and Cool Carribean inks, and stamped onto Whisper White cardstock. It’s such an easy technique, but the results are sooo effective! The card is made entirely with So Saffron, Cool Carribean and Certainly Celery, to match with the strip of Notations paper down the middle. I’ve stamped the Hello greeting with Cool Carribean ink and punched out the tab with the new Round Tab Punch. There is a bit of celery ribbon and some So Saffron brads, and voila!

Hope you like it! :D

Where does the time go?

Blogged in by Jenni Saturday September 15, 2007

Last Sunday, 9th September 2007, was our 8th Wedding Anniversary! Yep, we were married on 9/9/99! The older I get, the gladder I am of that date, my memory is not what it was, and that one’s easy peasy :D

We got married in Vanuatu on Erakor Island, on the beach - what a great relaxing way to do it, and have an awesome holiday as well! When I scan some photo’s (still haven’t done our album, whoops) I’ll put some up. We had both sets of our parents there, which was a nice surprise, as we’d thought no one would come along, and after the wedding, the island restaurant put on a mouth watering seafood feast for us. It was divine. Back in our cabin or burre or whatever they call those little shacks on the beach, the native islanders had put red hibiscus on our pillows and around the room, it was so lovely! I can’t wait to go back with the kids, they’ll have a ball!

Anyway, the whole point of telling you this, is so that I can share the card I made for David, for our anniversary. I am ashamed to say that I’ve been so busy, and disorganised, that I only made it today. Doh. But he loved it anyway.

The colours are from the In Colour range - Cranberry Crisp, Marigold Morning and True Thyme - just love that Cranberry Stitched ribbon, which is from the Spring Mini catalogue. And the greeting fits perfectly into the Word Window Punch! Gotta love that too! The stamp sets I’ve used are Wild About You, Weathered, Dream Come True, and of course, it goes without saying now, Itty Bitty Backgrounds.

I went to the local party shop here in Gisborne - ‘Party Mates’ and the lovely lady made me up a bunch of love and anniversary themed balloons, and I got a cute little hippo teddy wearing a tiny jumper which had ‘I’m sorry’ on the front to go with it. I thought I should apologise for my tardiness (yes I know, only 6 days but still…. :P ). It all looked so cute!

Thanks for looking!!

Stampin’ Up!® September Promotion

Blogged in by Jenni Tuesday September 4, 2007

This month’s promotion is an extra incentive to purchase our already fantastic starter kit, and become an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator like me.

Hardware Upgrade Promotion

1 September - 28 September 2007

Join Stampin’ Up! as a demonstrator by purchasing the Starter Kit during September, and expand your toolbox with a FREE tin of Hodgepodge Hardware (a $52.95 value!)

Hodgepodge Hardware Assortment choices include:

 Item Description
 105532   Aged Copper
 105531   Antique Brass
 105515   Pewter

Things to remember -

* You must use the updated Starter Kit Order Form (dated 04/07)

* You can still purchase the Stampin’ Memories Add On to your starter kit for an additional $75.

* Your forms must be received in the Sydney office by 28 September 2007, 5pm (AET)

I had hoped the next recruiting promotional offer would include an extra free stamp set, so I was a little disappointed for you all. However…….

I am going to add an extra little gift for you if you decide to join under me this month. If you get your forms in by 28th September, you can choose a Stampin’ Up! Background stamp, valued at $33.95 as well, for FREE, from me!! (I don’t advertise the fact, but my recruits also get a surprise welcome gift of a pack of cardstock, and a reel of grosgrain ribbon too - which I will still do as well for any recruits this month. (This addition is my own promotion, as an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, Stampin’ Up! itself is not bound to fulfill this obligation - I am funding it myself.)

If you are interested in taking advantage of this great offer, please let me know as soon as possible, so I can get the relevent information to you in time - and those of you who already have the forms, please check that they are dated 04/07 at the bottom right hand corner.

*Please note* If you are not interested in one of our awesome background stamps, you could choose another item(s) of equal or lesser value ($33.95), like a large punch, small stamp set, a couple of jumbo wheels etc.

And if you’ve come this far….

Here is a simple card I made at a workshop recently - using Petal Prints, Linen Background and Taggers Dozen (from the current Mini Catalogue). The colours are Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Mellow Moss. I love that Round Tab Punch for adding sentiments quickly to a card!

Hope you like it, happy stamping out there! :)
