Hmmmm well I think that ‘last chance’ post was making the site go ‘funny’. The sidebar writing is TINY now! I wonder why? Anyhoo, it’s deleted now, but I don’t know if that helped! I think it’ll be ok when the month ticks over, but for now, it’s making me cranky! :(

Paperific!

I will be among a great group of Independent Demonstrators who will be demonstrating Stampin’ Up! products at this year’s Paperific show in Melbourne.

There will be product demonstrations, make and takes, catalogue sales and orders taken, and we’ll have a fabulous display of gorgeous items for you to peruse. AND a great big basket chock full of Stampin’ Up! goodies to be won!!

It’s always a fantastic show to go to, and this year I’m even more excited because I’ll be PART of it!! :)

You can find out more here.

And once I figure out how to do the darn thing, there will be a noice Paperific icon on the side of my blog too - I think I need some IT help! Gaaaaaabbbbie!!!

Phew!

Blogged in by Jenni Friday August 10, 2007

I haven’t been around lately to blog, it’s been quite a whirlwind couple of weeks!!

I went for a job interview last Monday, they got me back for a second interview Friday, and then I started orientation for the position Monday this week! Four hectic days and still four to go. I’m really tired, but I’m loving it as well. It’s going to be a bit crazy around here while we all get used to Mum working regular shifts again, but I’m confident we’ll be fine. The kids will be going to childcare and after school care two days, and the third shift I work is on David’s day off, so it’s all working out nicely in theory! LOL!

And imagine how many more SU sets I can afford now…. :D

Anyway, naturally in amongst all of this activity, the kids went to three birthday parties, so instead of doing the ironing or cleaning the house (which was screaming for mercy by this stage), I created three birthday cards!

This was for Amy’s friend Emily - I had some images already stamped from Wild About You in perfect plum, so that cut down some time! I’ve used Itty Bitty Backgrounds and Tidy Alphabet as well, and the colours are Perfect Plum, Pale Plum and Certainly Celery. Love that combo. The brads are certainly celery as well, so they match perfectly. The little bow on the giraffe’s neck is made from our silver cord - can you believe you get nearly 70 metres for $11.50??

The next one is for Kelsey’s friend Megan, and the colours are again Perfect Plum and Certainly Celery, but there is some So Saffron in there too! I’ve used Wild About You again, but it matches so well with the balloons from Eat Cake! The alpha is Classic Alphabet. And there you go, more silver cord to attach the balloons to the elephants trunk. There are Certainly Celery brads once again.

And finally, yet another Emily! This one is Kelsey’s friend - the party was awesome, I had to go on the huge slide with some of the kids who were too scared. :^O Well that’s my story and I’m sticking to it :P

Waaaay different colour scheme for this one - Pixie Pink, Gable Green and Tempting Turquoise. This is using the Eat Cake set, with the Tidy Alphabet. I’ve coloured direct to rubber for the cake image, using our Bold Bright markers. And once again the turquoise brads match perfectly!

Well back to the drudgery of getting prepared for another week of orientation - where did those mountains of dirty washing come from this week???

MY August Thankyou to my customers

Blogged in by Jenni Wednesday August 1, 2007

The new Stampin’ Up! promotion is great for those of you who want to have a workshop in your home, but that’s not always convenient… so………

I have decided to have my own Catalogue party this month, and I’ll be collecting orders until Friday 24th August.

Normally this would bag me a great big pile of goodies from Stampin’ Up! in hostess benefits, but I’ve decided to thank you all for being great customers and loyal readers in the past, by giving away the hostess benefits to YOU! AND give you free postage!

I wouldn’t have gotten to the Top 25 of Aussie Demonstrators without you all!

So here is how it’s going to work -

Email or telephone orders over $50 get you free postage, and an entry into the draw to win one of the hostess benefits.

Hostess benefits will ultimately depend on how many of you decide to ‘play the game’ so to speak.

If the total of sales are between $300 and $599, then there will be two prizes - the exclusive hostess stamp set, and the $$$ to spend on merchandise.

If the total of sales are between $600 and $999, then there will be three prizes - the exclusive hostess stamp set, the $$$ to spend on merchandise, and the extra free stamp set from the August promotion.

If the total is over $1000, then there will be four prizes - two exclusive hostess stamp sets, the $$$ to spend on merchandise, and the extra free stamp set from the August promotion.

Sooooo get your orders in before the 24th August, to be in the running for one of these great benefits - just think, if the total is $1000, you could be spending another $120 on whatever you like from the catalogue!!!!

*This offer is for Australian Residents only, non Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators only.

*Email or telephone orders only. Workshop orders do not qualify for this promotion

*Free postage on orders over $50

*Entry into draw on orders over $50 (each $50 gets you an entry)

* I will guarantee that sales will be at least $300, by placing my own order - which will NOT qualify for an entry!

* First name picked out will decide which prize they’d like, and so on down the list.

Email me your orders by Friday 24th August to be in the running to win - to make things easy I can accept Visa and Mastercard, Cheque, Cash or Direct Deposit to my bank account.

Hmmmm. This is sounding good. I wish I qualified LOL!

Scribble This

Blogged in by Jenni Wednesday August 1, 2007

Well I didn’t buy this set myself….. and as usual, I am regretting it LOL!

I was playing around with the flowers and embossing them on Blush Blossom card, with white embossing powder - then I coloured the gaps with Taken With Teal ink, using the inkpad and a blender pen. It looked good, but I decided it needed some bling, so I whipped out the 2 way glue pen and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter over the teal colouring.

[photopress:GLITTERY_SCRIBBLE_CARD.JPG,full,pp_empty]

I’ve layered onto a torn piece of Tempting Turquoise card, then put the lot onto a card base of Taken with Teal which has been randomly stamped with one of the Scribble This images too. The other features I’ve added by punching out a tab with our new Round Tab Punch from the mini catalogue from Blush Blossom cardstock, sponged the edges, and stamped For You from the Happy Everything set, then attached it with Turquoise brads. The groovy punched edge of the card was made with the other new punch, the Spiral punch. It’s awesome for adding pages to your journals!

Hope you like it!!

Stand by for another post later tonight, I need to reveal the August Stampin’ Up! promotion, and add my own little promotion to it…
